Reflection Women's rights presentation

Today people in SS class had done about 4 presentations about women's rights in different countries. Today the countries they had talked about were Southeast Asia, Europe, America, and one more country. I had learned that in each country had many things going on like sexual harassment or hurting women which it isn't illegal in some country. When I knew about these things it made me really shocked to hear about this stuff because I haven't known it before that these things are happening in the country.

Today we had continued with the presentation about women's rights. Today I was really surprised about the women's right in Pakistan and many countries in the South Africa. They had said that women in Pakistan or some country which I can't remember but they said that women in that country cannot have the passport, can't swim, can't go out to a supermarket if they don't get permission, and they can't go meet with other men. In this group, they had also said that if some women don't ha a father or a husband...they still need to ask their son to get the permission. 1I was really shocked at what I had just heard. In each country, women had been treated in many different ways. Some were good and some were bad.
