What I learned in School this week

What I learned in school this week?

In the last week, I had learned many new things which were about the 2 types of characterization which were direct and indirect. I had learned that direct mean when the author is exactly telling the reader what the personality of the characters is. In my understanding, I also think that indirect means when the authors show the reader the personality of the character. Also on the last Friday, we had also made an assertion too. We had made a table of what type of character is Mary Maloney had and also Patrick too. The table below is a table of the type of character of Hae So in Moon lovers. (Moon lovers is a Korean series.) Down below we had to write one word that describes this character. Then in the next column, we had to find a quote from that series or the words/sentences that this character say that shows that the character is..... smart, caring, honest, and etc. In the last column is when we had to type of "This quote shows that Hae So is......". The last column is when you had to explain of how the quote is connecting to the word you chose. It was really fun to learn these new things.

Example:

Moon lovers: Hae So

Trait
Evidence from Text
Assertion
1. Smart
“So here’s the plan,”
This quote shows that Hae So is smart because the people who make a plan before doing something is a smart person and a clever person.
2. Brave
“Yeah, you can kill me now if you want to.”
“I never scared of you, Wang so.”
This quote shows that Hae So is brave because she had talked in front of a person who had blood on their body and she just say it with no hesitation so this is why it shows that she is really brave.
3. Kind
“Are you ok?”
“How are you today”
"let’s go inside I’ll help you.”
This quote shows that Hae So is kind because she’s always asking people are you ok or like how are you today every time when she met other people.
4. Honest
“I didn’t kill the king if you don’t trust me you can go check everywhere in my room that I have no weapon.”
This quote shows that Hae San is a honest person because killing a king punishment is to die only and she just say the real thing and she wasn’t afraid to let the guards go into her room to check it.
