Gottfried Leibniz

The picture on the right side was a poster about Gottfried Leibniz that I was a person doing it. On the poster, it was all about his personal information, his invention, what his job, and etc. Everybody had to choose one person like William Harvey, Issac Newton, Galileo, and etc and they needed to do something that presents all the information about that person. I thought about last week we had present to each other by going clockwise and rotate around. So Gottfried Leibniz was a scientist, lawyer, astronomer, and diplomat. He was a person who had contributed more of creating calculators. From all of his work, it had made the modern day became easier in solving math problems and calculating many different problems. As you can see on the poster, you can see the Germany's flag color right? So you will know that Gottfried Leibniz was from Germany. This poster was in Scientific Revolution project. From this project, I had learned more about other people like about Rene' Descartes, Santorio, Francis Bacon, and etc. It was really fun to do this project.

Protestant Reformation Poster

There were many different posters that had talked about Protestant Reformation and mind mapping about different things. In the big poster it will be about Protestant Reformation but in the small paper, it will be about different things. I had learned about the main people that had done many different things during that time such as Martin Luther, John Calvin, Pope Leo, King Henry VIII, and Catherine of Aragon. I had also learned about the 95 theses too!  I had also learned that Gutenberg invented the printing press and from invented this thing, it had spread the bible and it had also translation too. Also, I had learned that from all of this causes it cause corruption and wars.

What I learned this week 3

What I learned this week 3

This week I had learned many new things in both Language Art and Social Studies. In Social Studies I had learned about mind mapping and about Protestant Reformation. In Langauge Art class I had read about the Story of an Hour and I had learned all new vocabulary like Afflicted, Trivial, Peddler, Subtle, Elixir of Life, Half- concealing, and etc. In Social Studies class we had mixed up both Mr. Said and Mrs. Maria's class to do a mind map. It was really fun to work with new people and doing a mind map, I feel like our mind map was really good too. In Language Art class we had also learned about foreshadowing too. Today 1/9/17 we had` taken a quiz on a vocabulary too, and I got 100 percent. After that, we had to do a noredink about grammar. I got 80 percent because like in the quiz it has something about the work "article" which I didn't know about it. I think it's mean a subject or an object I'm not sure. If I have another quiz on noredink or a test on vocabularies, I'll try to get 100 percent full. Also as I talked about Social Studies, in my group there were Anna, Piano, Phreawa, Deedee, and Namphueng. They drew all the pictures really well. We had learned many new things about Martin Luther, John Calvin, and etc.
