Solo Project Reflection

On top is my final recording.

I think my song was kind of like fun or happy. I think it's just some parts that I was successful in conveying these 2 adjectives because sometimes when it need to be softer or louder I didn't play that really good or really different. I think this recording was better than my first draft because I think I started to play better tempo and better rhythm than my first draft video. Also, I think I could play the music as what it was written for example staccato, accent, and etc. I think the measures that I think it sounded the best is in the measure 1 to the first repeat sign because I play it in the most correct rhythms. I play without squeak too (just some). I think about 10 measures from the end, that was my weakness. I think I could practice more on that part by count and clap and play slowly each measure. I weren't happy about my dynamics in these measures and also my accent. As I say that The first measure to the repeat sign was the best so that part was also my easiest part too.  I think it's easiest because it have an easy dynamic which it didn't change that much and also it's like the same rhythm all the time. Like same rhythm but different notes. I think after the first repeat sign was the hardest/difficult because the dynamics and rhythms change all the times and I couldn't follow it nicely. This what made it challenging for me. I think mostly all the steps were really helpful. I will make my dynamics better and more accurate accents.

Shark Tank Reflection

Part A:
Pictures and Video

Part B Question:
1) What are some examples of what your classmates did that helped you learn?
Some members in my group had taught me something. Like some of them teach me how to break the bottom of the lightbulb which was really useful for our shark tank project. Also, some of my classmate in my group had taught me how to edit a video nicely and make it as good as what you had seen in the speak out. They had taught me something that I never know before (never try before).

2a) How would you describe your work and cooperation? Did you contribute regularly as your group worked together?

I think in my team we work really well together but just only sometimes when we didn't agree on something together so we argue a little bit but then we still pass through that point. In the beginning, we didn't really talk much so we couldn't really cooperate that much but then after that when we started to know each other more, we cooperate easier and better. We contribute regularly as our group worked together.

2b) What are some examples you did in the classroom that you believe has helped other people learn?

I think there was one time when my classmate can't do something with the video or can't find the song to put in as a 30 secs song ending and he came to ask me. I had helped him learn how to search for a 30 secs song ending nicely. After that, he had found many good songs to put in our commercial and documentary. Also once I had brought materials to school to paint the lightbulb, some of my classmates ask what is this for and how to change color and many different things about it. I had told them something about the color and how to mix color to another color, I think some of these that I had helped in the classroom may help them know new things a bit too.

2c) What were you particularly good at during group work?

I think that there was one thing that I particularly good on during group work was that I can make people agree with each other easily by telling reasoning and explain. Also, I think when people started to talk too much while other people telling something good for them I could tell them to be quiet sometimes too.

2d)  How did your contribution change over the time your group worked together? Please tell us a full story about how your roles changed or developed and your work ethic either grew stronger or weaker.

As what I say in 2a, we didn't cooperate or contribute anything at the beginning because we didn't really talk to each other. But through the time pass on, we contribute together better and better and we giving each other ideas and share our knowledge together. I think our work ethic grew stronger (for me).

2e) How can you take what you have learned about the process of working together on a creative project and apply it in the future?

I think that I can take what I had learned about the process of working together on a creative project and apply it in the future by next time whenever we had a project or anything that need to use teamwork, I will start to talk from the beginning so we can cooperate from the start so we can be able to work really hard and fast from the beginning.

3) What were your favorite parts of the Shark Tank project for:
              a. Phase 1
             b. Phase 2
