English spread to these countries: England to Canada, North America, Australia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, half part of Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, Liberia, Serra Leone, and Australia.
French spread to these countries: France to part of Canada, Madagascar, Namibia, Democratic republic of Congo, Congo, Gabon, Central African Republic, south part of Chad, Niger, Mali, and some part of Camerdon, Surkinia Faso, and French Guiana.
Spanish spread to these countries: Spain to Mexico, Peru, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Bolivia, Paraguay, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Cayman, Cuba, Guatemala, El salvador, Costa Rica, Honduras, Aruba, Jamaica, and Trin.
Portugease spread to these countries: Portugal to Brazil, Angola, and Mozambique.
Chinese didn't spread that much. As you see in the map Chinese was only in China.
Exploration affected the world many ways like about language. If they didn't explore or trade or do anything, we wouldn't have language today. We wouldn't be able to communicate to other people. Mostly Europeans traveled by sea but Chinese didn't really spread much also Hindi too.

Newscast crusader battle reflection

1) Did you tell a story or just report information?
In my group, we did Newscast and we tell just report information. Miumiu and Alanah were in my group too.

2) What went well? Be specific.
Something that went well was when it was Miu Miu's part that she was interviewing different people. I think this part went well because it showed many different information about the crusaders' armies. She said it with a different tone so I think this part went well the most. But other parts like Alanah part and my part also,

3) What was challenging? How would you handle that challenge differently now? Explain.
I think some challenging that we have during this project is that we need to find more information about that battle (The Battle of Antioch) because we needed to talking about it clearly and we need to say it like a professional. So, it's a bit hard for me to act like a professional.

4) What was enjoyable by creating this project? Did the entertaining parts take away or add to the overall message you were trying to communicate?
I think something that was enjoyable was that we got to help each other finding information and I think it's fun to work with our friends. Also, another part that was enjoyable for me is when we take some videos for this project and sometimes we fail which were really funny.

5) What did you learn from this project?
Something that I learn from this project is that we should be a student who should practice every time so we don't have to be panic at the time when we need to submit the work to the teacher. Also, another thing that I learned from this newscast crusader battle project was that we should find information in a reliable source or then that information wouldn't be really true or really clear.

Historical Fiction Narrative Blog Reflection

1. What was enjoyable about writing your narrative? Be specific.
The enjoyable thing about my narrative are...In my story, I have some dialogue and some metaphor that describe the places when they going to start the Battle of Hattin. " They were standing in a sandstorm spinning around so hard as it could destroy all the things in the world. "

2. What was challenging about writing your narrative? Be specific.
Some challenging thing about writing my narrative is that I need to be careful of choosing the word to put in the story. The first time I typed my narrative I accidentally chose the word "OMG" which wasn't a correct word to put in my narrative during that time.

3. Evaluate (describe) your experience as a historical fiction writer. If you had more time, what would you have liked to research further/change about your narrative?
I would like to research further on about the Battle of Hattin because I feel like I had less information about the Battle of Hattin still. But specifically, I want to research like when crusaders met with Saladin's army, what is their reaction to Saladin's army and did crusaders have any speech too or no.

4. Which crusader primary accounts or other sources did you use to help you replicate the language, events, or tone of your account? Please specify from the list which you found helpful.
I use http://www.eyewitnesstohistory.com/crusades.htm - this source to help me typed out my writing narrative short story. This link helps me a little bit.

5. Why did you choose your particular timeframe for your narrative? Was it too much, too little, or just the right amount of time to cover? Please explain.
I choose Third crusades because Third crusades are the time frame that I learn and understand the most. I think it just the right amount of time to cover...
