  Mood Art

   This painting by Keith Harding, represents the feeling of happiness. In this painting it has five people in different colors.. It’s like how I feel when I got the first certificate in sixth grade for citizenship. When the teacher said my name out loud and I started to stand up, I wanted to jump up just like  the blue person in the painting. But, while I walked up I saw my friends clapping their hands out loud and it gave me the beat, so I felt like i am going to dance around the room with my friends in many different poses.

This painting also reminds me when the teacher in P.E. class changed the unit into Basketball. I love Basketball. The teacher said we going to get started with Basketball on Tuesday. I smiled and walked into the toilet. While I changed into the school uniform I dancing around in the toilet like those five people in the picture!

Finally, this painting represent how I feel when I got to know many new friends in my homeroom, Social Studies class, Band class, and many fun classes. This painting also shows how I felt very chaotic too when I met new friends. I like to go ask slowly and talk together the things that was very fun. While I talked with my new friends I always picture about I dancing around because I have new friends again! Over all this painting have related to me in sixth grade in many different happy ways.

Values Reflection

Values Reflection: 

     This first quarter in Values class I enjoyed doing Peace One Day presentation, and when we need to act in front of the class about bullying. But the hard things in Values class was about following the directions that the teacher said. Sometimes, I always forgot to listen to the teacher and when the teacher said, "Let's started" I don't know what to do!      The easy things for me in Values class was when we need to work on the Magazine and when we need to act in front of the class. It made me feel more confident and stop being shy. But, one thing I want to improve is try to share my ideas out loud. Every time when the teacher asked for the ideas I just sat there and scared that I'm going to be wrong. I going to improve everything that I didn't do it this quarter. :) :) :)  
     I learned about 4 main types of bullying. 
1.Cyber Bullying 
2.Verbal Bullying 
3.Physical Bullying 
4.Social Bullying 
     For me I think this things were the most greatest thing I need to know. I was not just learn about 4 main types of bullying but I also learned about the useful way to stop the bullying to do that bad things. 

      

Social Studies Reflection

First Quarter

 This quarter I learned a lot of new information about early civilizations. I learned about early hominids and how they were related to modern people.. I also learned about city states time, and Hunters and Gatherers time. It was interesting to learn that in Hunters and Gatherers time people migrated all around the world to find a new place to live! I really enjoyed when we presented about Sumerians. It helped me feel more confident speaking in front of my classmates and I learned a lot. I like when we watched the videos because it helps me picture what life was like in Paleolithic and Neolithic times. But, the hard things in Social Studies class is about vocabulary. I don't understand all the word that Ms.Erin said so sometimes I thinking about it. I want to take better notes so I can understand the information more.

Math Reflection Quarter One!!!

  This first quarter I have done very well in PEMDAS. PEMDAS is the first new thing I have learned it, it's very fun! But, when I do the calculations I need to be more slower than now because sometimes when I calculate the numbers very fast I get the wrong answer. Also, I need to check my work too! I need to work on reading directions too because this final test I did number 6 and number 7 wrong. I didn't read the word DETERMINE correctly so I just write the answer down on the paper that's why I'm wrong. I didn't follow the directions in the test. I need to work on 4 steps to solve word problems because 4 steps very help me for doing the word problems but, I didn't do the 4 steps correctly because sometimes for KNOW I write like Find and it's not correct. Also when I need to write equations for the word problem I did not understand all of the word problems yet.

        This is the presentation about the Order of Operation by Palmie and Sunny. I learned many new things about Order of Operation like about PEMDAS P=Parenthesis E=Exponent M=Multiplication D=Division A=Addition S=Subtraction. But in this presentation we need to work about our sound because our sound is not that loud it's need to get more louder. Palmie and I worked well together we have helped each other work out the script for this presentation together. I want to do things differently than this and that is I want to change the expression to be more harder than this because it's make us think deeper and understand more better!
