Final Artwork Reflection

From semester 2, I had done many artworks as you can see from the right-hand side. These are all works that I had done since the beginning of grade 9 in Art class. I never knew before that I would be able to draw the paint in this level, I thought I would mess everything up. For this final artwork, I felt happy about it. I felt like it looked kind of different from other artwork I had done before. But still, something that I could improve on more to make this final artwork become more amazing is to change some composition of the painting or drawing. I feel like the right bottom is kind of too close to each other. So, I think if I change the place to put it on the paper. It would be nicer. 

Environment Project Mid-term reflection

In this semester, I had learned to do many different things. I had learned about Nicki Foreman more, contour drawing, value drawing, and color pencil techniques. About Nicki Foreman, I had learned that she had graduated from Elam School of Fine Arts in 1992 and she had also done many different beautiful artworks. I had also learned that her artworks were different from other people because Nicki Foreman's artworks often show an innate sense of balance. About contour drawing, I had also learned that there are 5 different types of contour drawing. There are Blind, Pure, Variable, Cross, and Modified Contour. I had also learned that to color something, there are many different ways too. 

Puzzle Piece Reflection

     In this picture, it is my puzzle piece that reflects about me including my hobbies, places I want to go, my personality and etc. The objective or the main ideas for this project is to make us draw out the things that represent ourselves as much as we can, so the audience can learn about us more through pictures we draw. Before starting drawing into this puzzle piece, I chose to sketch all the things into my sketchbook first. Then I started to use a pencil to draw all of my images that I had planned into my puzzle piece. After I finished drawing, I started to put colors in by using color pencils, markers, and watercolors. For watercolors, I use it only for the background and for those small images or pictures. I use markers and color pencils. As you can see in the puzzle piece, the biggest picture in here was the white person listening to music! It represented that I really like to listen to music and also the picture of the piano, it means I can play many different musical instruments. In this puzzle piece, it also showed that I have 2 older sisters, I like to sing and dance, I like to go to the mountain and South Korea, I like to play many different sports like basketball and volleyball, and lastly, I like to draw. Also, if you can see on the left side of the puzzle piece. It is my name, "SUNNY". After I finished doing this puzzle piece that reflects about me, I started to feel happy because I can't imagine that I will be able to do this nicely. But still, I had some parts to fix and improve. So in the future, I'll try my best to do better and make it nicer than this one. But for this one, I'm already happy! :) 

SS - Industrial Revolution Blog

In this project which was about Industrial Revolution, many people had done many different modern technologies. I did about Microwave Freezer which can be one of the brilliant technology in the future. Some other people did like Amazon Go, Pacemaker, C-1, and many cool technologies. From all of these presentations, I had learned how technology can affect many people lives. It can affect in both bad ways and good ways base on how wisely people use it. 

A Triumphant First Launch for Elon Musk's Giant Rocket Summary

The Falcon Heavy had been model and designed by Elon Musk seven years ago. At about 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, a rocket which stood 230 feet tall had launched from Kennedy Space Center. Which at Kennedy Space Center had the Saturn V flew the first humans to the moon. Along with the ride, a cherry-red Tesla convertible, with a dummy called Starman wear a SpaceX suit sitting in the driver's seat. The center booster, which SpaceX planned to land on its drone ship off the coast in the Atlantic Ocean, didn't make it. Meanwhile, the place where it carried the Tesla, is working along just fine. The Falcon Heavy makes the cheapest heavy-lift launch option. The Tesla will be in an elliptical orbit around the sun between Earth and Mars. Musks had said that he expects that the Tesla to continue to orbit around Mars for about hundreds of millions of years so that it can be extremely close to Mars. After three failed attempts, SpaceX finally launched the Falcon 1 rocket. 

The fate of the Native American Tribe

Question: What are your thoughts on the fate of the Native American tribes and how they currently live?

Overall from what I had learned and what I had read on both internet and books, it didn't really talk much about Native American but from my thinking, I think that Native American now had a rough life and had to live in a forest somewhere around the world. They must live in a forest mostly, I think because people wouldn't really understand their lifestyles now today.

SMART goal for second semester.

GOAL:  I want to be able to read at least 4 books by May to June. I also want to read different genres such as Non-Fiction, Fiction, Realistic, and etc. I will keep looking at how many books I read by using Goodreads.com to see if I achieve my goal or not.
